Grandis (Eucalyptus Grandis) from South Africa is an ideal economical hardwood for exterior decks and furniture. Chosen because of its colour consistency, length availability and performance.

All Grandis supplied by Somerset Timbers is continuously replanted to ensure sustainability. Its stability and economical price allows Grandis decking to be an excellent alternative to other imported hardwood's such as Garapa and Balau and is available in colours ranging from light pink to brown.

We supply laminated beams and posts manufactured from South African kiln-dried Eucalyptus Grandis. Ideal for external carports, pergolas and balustrades, visit our showroom to see how we have used Grandis beams for the supporting structure of our mezzanine offices.
